Since many years I use a Mac for my daily work. As a consequence I teached myself Objectve C and started programming with XCode. For the last few years I joined Apples Swift trip which often made me feel like Indiana Jones while running from the large stone ball after his swift touch of the golden figurine in the jungle temple.
The apps you find on this page are donation-ware. In the beginning I placed these Apps in Apple's AppStore but now took them out. The reason is simple: The validation process one has to go through for a new release is simply a PITA and takes ages. In case you need to send out a quick fix you are simply lost on that road. Further for almost each release they have swiftly modified this language they call Swift in a way that a complete rewriting is needed.
The idea for my first published app CaLister came after realizing that the Mac Calendar could aid in capturing the time spent on my projects.
Instead of manually entering the time into the various time sheets I thought of a way to filter calendar events so I could simply copy/paste
the entries. I got a lot of positive feedback and improved the functionality over a couple of releases.
As a next step I thought of a way to capture the time spent on projects in an automated way. So instead of creating a new
calendar entry the end of the day, I had my second app ReCal do this automatically while working on a project.
Currently I'm working on two projects - in between, when time permits: a scan solution for small offices (like that of freelancers) and a compiler from Objective C to XMI in order to document my stuff with Enterprise Architect.
