These pages were created using my brain, my MacBook and an unnamed number of tools like Komodo, Ruby, Rails, jQuery, Mongrel, Inkscape, Gimp, git, UNIX command line tools, etc.
As you can see I use English for these pages although I'm German. The reason is that a) English is the lingua franca of IT and b) I do have quite a number of international relations. Since translating is a hell of work and does not pay off, I simply stay with English as language.
According to German law an editor of a web page has to dissociate from a any linked pages, especially the contents thereof. Well, I don't. This law is simply complete non-sense and was obviously created by people that use the internet having it printed out by their secretaries.
The background water is courtesy of Rosaline Stock and some filters provided by Gimp. The same site also hosts some of the art produced by my elder son who recently graduated at Technische Univerität Berlin and Tsinghua University with a master's degree each.
